Ganesha Doll Tiny
Amma said about Ganesha: “He is the embodiment of sraddha” (attention combined with love). “Ganesha captivates the minds of the people as his form is so enchanting.”
With his big ears, he listens to the prayers of his devotees. Also known as Vinayaka or Ganapathi, Ganesha is the son of Shiva and Parvati. Each part of Ganesha’s body symbolizes a spiritual principle. For example, his large ears and head represent wisdom gained through sravana (hearing) and manana (thinking). His two tusks represent pairs of opposites; pleasure and pain, day and night. Ganesha’s broken tusk shows his transcendence of all dualities. His trunk represents the intellect which arises from wisdom. It has the unique capacity to perform both gross and subtle activity. A trunk can uproot a tree and can also pick up a needle. Ganesha’s intellect penetrates the material and spiritual realms. His small, penetrating eyes possess the inner vision to see the spirit of God in everyone.
All our dolls are handmade with love and prayers.
